Do you install the equipment?
No. Jackrabbit Water sells the equipment. A licensed local plumber contracts with you separately to install the system and pull any required permits.
Which cities do you serve?
Andover, Derby, and Goddard, Kansas. This site does not market Wichita city-core or out-of-state markets.
What is The Jackrabbit Complete Home Water System?
Our featured package: whole-home filtration and softening at the main line plus reverse osmosis drinking water at the kitchen.
What grain size do I need?
Many mid-size city-water homes start around 48,000 grains (Standard). Larger homes or harder water often need about 64,000 grains (XL). Dual-tank city configurations go higher — about 96,000 grains. Exact fit depends on people, hardness, and usage.
City water vs well water — does it matter?
Yes. City water usually means hardness plus chlorine taste/odor. Private wells can add iron, manganese, and sulfur odor. Dual Tank — Well Water is built for that second path.
Is a salt-free conditioner the same as a softener?
No. A salt-free conditioner helps reduce scale adhesion while leaving minerals in the water. A salt-based softener removes hardness minerals. Different tools for different goals.
